I have loved photography ever since I was a little girl and was given my first camera (a Kodak automatic) for Christmas. I would often set up blankets and dolls as well as my siblings to pose them for photoshoots. After I became a parent I started exploring the world of shooting in manual and spent years reading, taking classes, talking to other photographers and taking pictures of our 4 children, their friends and anyone who I could get in front of the camera!

I love taking pictures and I often hear clients appreciating my down-to-earth approach to photo shoots. My favorite part of a session is the impromptu, spontaneous and often hilarious moments that happen. I love the unposed moments of people connecting and their true personality coming through. I  also enjoy making any awkward moments a little easier to get through, to create a safe and fun experience for the youngest clients. I like to remind people that I have four children, so nothing phases me! Before I was a parent I was an elementary teacher, I love all ages of kids.  Although I am often out and about with my camera, in my free you can find me running or hiking with friends, or  spending time with my husband and four amazing children and my adorable dog Hazel!
